R.W. Starck Contracting Ltd. is a company with twenty-five years experience in the building industry. Owner Robert Stark began building in 1975, and since that time has built more than 160 homes for Island residents. His experience in the residential construction industry is vast – building both spec and custom single-family homes, undertaking renovations of existing homes, and assuming project management.
Able to take on any home building project, R.W. Starck Contracting Ltd. takes great pride in the work performed and stands behind their projects. Robert Starck’s belief is to simplify the building process for his customers, making the experience as stress free as possible. Providing the client with necessary information is key, and working closely with the homeowner aids in keeping the lines of communication clear.
Robert Starck’s knowledge and contacts in the industry have been greatly enhanced by his membership with the Canadian Home Builder’s Association. A member since 1985, Robert Starck has spent the last few years on the Association’s Board of Directors and was the 1997-1998 President of the 60 year old Association. His work with CHBA has earned him Local and National Awards.
Protection for homeowners is important to R.W. Starck Contracting Ltd., and subsequently, the builder is a registered member with Residential New Home Warranty. The Builder is also licensed with the Home Owner Protection Office of B.C. His interest in education and training have earned his company the Registered Housing Professional (RHP) designation, as well as a certificate as a Certified Residential Builder (CRB) – a Canadian Home Builders’ Association program designed to educate members on the latest building laws and building technology.
R.W. Starck’s speciality is in creating and building energy efficient and R-2000 Housing. His knowledge of the latest innovations in building technology ensures his customers receive the best value for their purchase dollar and continue to receive the same value after they move in.
